With a waffle maker at home and these recipes handy, you can cook spicy Indian waffles all at the comfort of your home.


Bhaji Waffle


  • 2 Medium Onions
  • 1½ Cup Besan
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chopped green chillies  1 tsp
  • Fresh Chopped Coriander 1 tbs
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp


  • Chop onions, add Besan, salt, green chillies, fresh coriander, Ajwain and red chilly powder
  • Mix it well, rub it to get water from onions and make a paste
  • Brush oil on the waffle iron
  • Pre-heat the waffle
  • Spread the mixture on waffle iron
  • Cook for 8 to 10 minutes
  • Serve Onion Bhaji Waffle with mint or ketchup


Potato Waffle Chaat


  • 2 Large Potatoes
  • Salt as per taste
  • Maida 1 tbs
  • Corn Flour 1 tbs
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Chat Masala 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly Powder 1 tsp
  • Curd 2 tbs
  • Mint Chutney 1 tbs
  • Pomegranate 2 tbs
  • Boil Potatoes ½
  • Chopped Cucumber 1 tbs


  • Peal and grate potatoes, soak it in water for 15 minutes then drain the water out
  • Use a kitchen towel to make it dry
  • Add corn flour, Maida and salt. Mix it well
  • Brush oil waffle iron
  • Pre-heat the waffle iron
  • Layer it with the mixture and cook for 7 to 8 minutes
  • Let it get crispy
  • Serve it with boiled potato and cucumber
  • Top it curd, red chilly powder and chat masala
  • Garnish with pomegranate and mint chutney
